More than 47.000 medical supplies arrived at the warehouses of the Regional Health Directorate in Cojedes state, to supply the hospitals and care centers of the nine municipalities of the entity.
The official reception of the shipment was carried out by Dr. Manuel Rodríguez, the sole health authority of the Llanera entity, who highlighted that among the supplies delivered were antibiotics, analgesics, antihypertensives and disposable material such as gloves and syringes.
Rodríguez specified that the distribution logistics were activated immediately to ensure that supplies reach the population in a timely manner.
“Thanks to the national health policies led by the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, together with the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Dr. Carlos Alvarado, we are receiving continuous supplies every 15 days,” Dr. Rodríguez highlighted during the reception of the shipment.
The regional authority also emphasized that all supplies and medical care within the public network are completely free.
This model seeks to guarantee efficient and equitable human health for the well-being of all inhabitants of Cojedes, strengthening the response capacity of the SPNS in the region.
