Eglantina Zingg travels Latin America with the magic of soccer

Venezuelan model and peace agent Eglantina Zingg is in Venezuela to promote her sports project “Goleadoras”, which aims to empower girls in Latin America through the magic of football.

Because "football unites us all" and to celebrate the important initiative, Eglantina met with athlete Yulimar Rojas, the "queen of the triple jump." At the moment, there are no further details of the visit of the presenter and actress.

His passage through Venezuela after several years of absence was recorded on his Instagram account, where he also recorded the first meeting with the Venezuelan athletes.

The three figures looked happy and closed the meeting in a big hug, as could be seen on the social network of the camera of the Caracas socialite.

According to the Goleadoras website, for more than 10 years they have been achieving change throughout Latin America by empowering the poorest neighborhoods with the magic of football. “Our work with UNICEF, the UN and many private sector partners in Haiti, Venezuela, and Mexico has transformed the lives of thousands of children,” the website said.

Last August, following the positive progress of the project, Telemundo channel chose “Goleadoras” as a social impact organization, for which it has provided its support during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

«The idea of founding Goleadoras was born when we brought a team to participate in the Global Goals World Cup. Our team was spectacular. Over the course of the tournament, the team came together, exemplifying the best of the word teamwork. Strong leadership created impeccable organization, which made each and every game better than the last, Eglantina Zingg detailed in a past interview.

“Football is one of the most ubiquitous and respected social institutions in the world. We will leverage its prestige to change the game for girls across the region,” she concluded.
