The Cuban Minister of Culture Alpidio Alonso, and his Venezuelan counterpart, Ernesto Villegas, signed a memorandum of understanding in order to strengthen and expand bilateral relations in this sector.
The agreement proposes to articulate the development of cultural, artistic and community projects between these portfolios, reported the Cuban Ministry of Culture.
The executive program that includes the agreement is based on the need to promote the recognition and revitalization of cultural and artistic processes jointly.
In addition, it creates a suitable framework to increase the exchanges of artistic presentations, exhibitions and academic activities.
Alonso and Villegas also spoke with the Minister of Culture, Arts and Knowledge of Colombia, Patricia Ariza, who accompanied them at the meeting.
The holders exchanged about the possibility of promoting circuits of artistic presentations and exhibitions in the three countries.
