The body of a woman was found this Tuesday morning inside a garbage container located on Andrés Bello Avenue, at the height of the Comptroller General of the Republic, Caracas, police sources said.
Unofficially it was known that the body corresponds to María Maya Toledo (64), who lived in a house located on Táchira Avenue, El Recreo parish, Caracas.
They presume that the murder of this lady was planned by her 16-year-old granddaughter along with her boyfriend identified as Richard Alfonso Vargas Betancourt (19). Both were captured by the Cicpc before whom they admitted to having committed the murder, according to police sources.
The teenage granddaughter apparently became pregnant and had nowhere to live. So she planned with her boyfriend to murder the grandmother to keep the house. Thus, last Sunday they visited her and there they subjected her by hanging her with a cable until she died. They then packed the body in a suitcase that they threw in the container from where it was lifted this Tuesday morning by Cicpc officials.
