Thanks to the work, nine breakdowns have been recovered and 19 valves have been installed

More than 500 liters per second will be recovered at pumping station No. 32 of the Hidrocapital Tuy III system, located in the Caujarito sector on the Charallave-Santa Teresa national highway, Cristóbal Rojas municipality of Miranda state, reported Governor Héctor Rodríguez Castro. this Tuesday during an inspection of the water infrastructure.

Rodríguez Castro, accompanied by Harol Clemente Camacho, president of Hidrocapital; and the mayors of the Valles del Tuy axis, reviewed the recovery, stabilization and maintenance works of the Tuy III system.

He recalled that the work began last Saturday and so far nine breakdowns have been rehabilitated and, additionally, 19 valves have been placed. “We are supervising the work that is done in this shutdown of more than 48 hours, in which we will recover more than 500 liters per second.

Let us remember that this System Tuy III produced 11 thousand liters per second and we have already exceeded 13 thousand; and with the effort we are making now we are going to reach almost 15.000 liters per second”, he stated.

He estimates that after the completion of the repair and maintenance work on the Tuy III system, more than 3,5 million inhabitants of Miranda and the Capital District will once again have water supply, and he anticipates that this Wednesday the supply of the vital liquid will be reactivated.

"We are looking for new sources of water. So far this year, we have added 24 wells to improve distribution to homes in Miranda. This government action will allow for the distribution of 14.800 liters of water per second, and they hope to reach 18 liters of this vital resource by December," he added.

The technical team of the Secretary of Water of the state of Miranda and the mayor's offices of the Tomás Lander and Cristóbal Rojas municipalities have been deployed, since Saturday, July 9, in support of Hidrocapital in the execution of the work.

They activate water wells in Mirandino municipalities.

Governor Héctor Rodríguez Castro mentioned that among other works carried out by the National Government through Hidrocapital, jointly with the regional Executive, mayors and Popular Power, is the activation of water wells in the Mirandina entity.

He listed that to date 24 wells have been opened in Miranda, guaranteeing service to more than 50.000 families and announced that in the coming weeks the Brisa Nueva pumping station, located in the Las Brisas parish of the Cristóbal Rojas municipality, will be reactivated.

He specified that a bank of three-phase transformers will be delivered that will allow the reactivation of the electrical energy required in the place, which works with water from three wells located in the Caiza urbanism, which will also be served.

The governor explained that the supply of drinking water from the Las Brisas aqueduct to the Tuy III System and the Óscar Machado Zuloaga Airport, better known as Caracas Airport, will be evaluated, whose actions will allow increasing the pressure of water pumping in the area. "We are going to review the three water wells that are needed to reactivate them," he argued.

Governor Rodríguez Castro led the citizens' assembly with residents of Las Brisas.

The Street Government arrived at the Las Brisas parish

Governor Héctor Rodríguez Castro, together with the mayor of Cristóbal Rojas, Humberto Marte, made a house-to-house tour in the Las Brisas parish, within the framework of the 3R.Nets and the 1×10 of Good Government.

The renewal of the communal councils cannot be among the same as always, the street leadership has to come out, ”he stressed.

He insisted on the need to implement a new way of doing politics through house to house, in order to add people who do not coincide politically, but who wish to contribute to the development of the community, to community work.

"We must rediscover ourselves with deep chavismo, with the deep people and that forces us to change our attitude," he ratified. Rodríguez Castro invited the communities to empower themselves with decisions through popular consultation. “We have to go back to community referendums, when we have two or three projects and only one can be approved, the community must vote and decide on the one with the highest priority,” he added.

Mayor Humberto Marte Tejada assured that more than 450 citizen assemblies have been activated in the town of Charallaven to meet the neighborhood demand and guarantee the quality of life of the inhabitants, considering the 1×10 of Good Government.

"We are driven by a commitment to continue improving the quality of life of the people of Charalla, and we will continue to invest to optimize public services in this parish," he stated.

The governor stressed that in Miranda the entrepreneurship policy continues to be promoted, generating a culture of production in the Mirandinos, at the time that he gave three financings to the entrepreneurs of the aforementioned area. “In the Valles del Tuy we have the best cotton seed and Miranda is an excellent cocoa producer, which is why we continue to bet on the growth of the entrepreneurial movement”, he stressed.
