After the affirmations of President Maduro that the Government is ready to dialogue with the opposition in Mexico, Congressman Bernabé Gutiérrez pointed out that the democratic opposition is ready to negotiate and agree with the Government what is necessary to re-institutionalize the country, achieve political stability and recover the economy, guaranteeing peace, refers a press release.
“Our political and parliamentary parties are motivated by the best national interests and in this sense we will demand the prompt lifting of foreign sanctions; as well as the best guarantees for the upcoming elections to be transparent and trustworthy, ”said Gutiérrez.
The Secretary General of Democratic Action (AD) also announced that they will propose to the alliance to integrate parliamentarians Luis Eduardo Martínez, vice president of the Commission for Dialogue, Peace and Reconciliation and head of the parliamentary faction of AD and Timoteo Zambrano, president of the Foreign Policy Commission of the National Assembly and leader of Cambiemos, as representatives of the democratic opposition in the negotiations that are expected to take place soon in Mexico.
