In October, face-to-face classes will start in the country

In a press conference held in the Ayacucho Room of the Miraflores Palace, President Nicolás Maduro expressed that he hopes that this second semester will be good news for Venezuela.

Maduro reported that he estimates that by the month of September they will have vaccinated 70% of the population with their two doses and in October they would begin face-to-face classes in the country with all biosafety measures. "It will be a day of great joy," he said.

However, he stressed that first "the entire vaccination process for the entire education sector must be completed."

According to the schedule managed by the authorities, more drugs will arrive in the country in the course of the next few weeks.

The first national president announced that the government is looking for vaccines for Venezuelan children and young people, "vaccines that have been tested and proven effective" in this sector of the population, he said.
