This Friday, the Governor of Falcón, Víctor Clak, delivered the first phase of the comprehensive rehabilitation of the “Alí Primera” National Primary School, located in Judibana (Los Taques municipality), which impacts the learning process of 874 students between the primary and general secondary levels.
In a joint effort between the Military Community Brigades (Bricomiles) and the Government, 56 rooms were improved, including classrooms, laboratories, dining room, kitchen, bathrooms and multipurpose room with civil works repairs, painting, lighting, air conditioning and decoration. At the same time, they incorporated the Bolivarian Center for Information Technology and Telematics with 54 new computers.
As part of the equipment delivered by the Governor together with the director of the Center for Educational Quality of the entity, Marelys Castro, there were supplies, uniforms and footwear for students and teachers, as well as a freezer for storing food belonging to the School Feeding Program.
“We thank President Nicolás Maduro, who during his visit to the land of Father Cantor Alí Primera, promised to improve the sector and here we are fulfilling our promise. Just as we did months ago with the outpatient clinic, today we have this beautiful school that will continue its improvement process in a second phase to address the Early Childhood Education Center, sports areas and more environments,” Clark explained.
He added that the work was carried out with resources allocated by the Federal Government Council and that their goal now is to increase enrollment to a thousand students given the new conditions.
The Governor also indicated that they are currently working in 46 schools throughout the Falconian territory with the aim of strengthening the right to free and quality education as part of the formation of comprehensive citizens for the future of the country.
