Some 346 homes are being renovated by the Venezuela Renace Plan in Boca de Aroa, Falcón state, specifically in the sectors of Cayumar, Casco Central, Las Delicias, Barrio Verde and El Río.
There, the president of the Venezuela Renace Plan, Jacqueline Faría, and the governor of Falcón state, Víctor Clark Boscán, toured the area to verify the progress of the rehabilitation work in the communities of Boca de Aroa affected by the double seismic event.
“We deployed to Falcón—one of the seven states affected by the double earthquake of June 24—to witness firsthand the sense of solidarity and the effectiveness of the response. While we are rebuilding homes in areas designated as green and yellow zones, structures in red zones are being safely demolished, and their families are already registered to receive new housing,” explained the president of the Venezuela Renace Plan.
Furthermore, he noted that the technical classification system used for building interventions is based on a traffic light system. In this system, houses marked green and yellow undergo rehabilitation and structural reinforcement work because they present minor to moderate damage; while houses marked red are subject to demolition due to severe damage or risk of collapse, ensuring the census and immediate inclusion of affected families in housing allocation programs.

For his part, Governor Víctor Clark Boscán specified the scope of the works being carried out in the communities of Falcón, highlighting the coordination between the national, regional, municipal government and the communal power.
A suz highlights the adequacy of public services, the reactivation of electricity networks, distribution of drinking water, collection of sewage, supply of domestic gas and connectivity systems along with priority attention to families through medical days, social assistance and continuous psychological support.
“It’s not just about the physical infrastructure; a comprehensive recovery is underway, encompassing everything from stabilizing public services to providing medical and psychological care for each individual case. It’s a continuous effort, working in perfect synergy between all four levels of government and organized communities,” the president stated, surrounded by his team and the construction crews who are staying overnight in the area to complete the first deliveries between September and December.
