Toyota de Venezuela will close the year 2025 with more than 12.300 new units sold and around 1.000 used vehicles, figures that consolidate the brand's presence in the country, according to the company's CEO, Matteo D'Abrizio.
These numbers are complemented by significant milestones:
- More than 6.000 people are insured through the Tu Toyota seguro program, linked to the brand.
- 110.000 services performed in the dealer network.
- Sales exceeding $17,5 million in original spare parts.
- Over $1,2 million in accessory sales
"These indicators reflect customer confidence and the support of the service infrastructure that Toyota maintains in Venezuela," D'Abrizio emphasized.
Looking ahead to next year, Toyota projects surpassing current results with a goal of 14.000 new units sold and another 1.000 used units, in addition to increases in service, insurance, and parts sales. “We want to continue growing and offering our customers solid support that goes beyond simply buying a vehicle,” he added.
It is worth noting that Matteo D'Abrizio will formally assume the role of CEO of Toyota de Venezuela on January 1, 2026, marking the beginning of a new strategic phase focused on innovation and an exceptional mobility experience. This appointment is part of a strategic restructuring of the company, which seeks to optimize Toyota's business operations through a more regionalized structure and respond more efficiently to consumer needs.
""Receiving this appointment is a source of great pride and excitement for me; it represents a new challenge in my career of more than 37 years in the organization," he said.
Free maintenance and extended warranty: a differentiating value
Toyota de Venezuela held a year-end review of its achievements, highlighting the services and programs that form the backbone of the brand for its customers and announced the initiatives that will come into effect from January 1, 2026, with the aim of reaffirming its commitment to the Venezuelan customer.
The brand highlighted its comprehensive and differentiated after-sales service, emphasizing its four-year free maintenance program and its commitment to driver safety.
"The company's vision is to build a long-term relationship where day-to-day customer support makes them feel a connection with a brand, providing support for all their needs and throughout the entire dealer network," said Ana Marina Ascanio, marketing and communications manager.
For his part, Francisco Carona, planning manager, announced that by 2026 Toyota will offer a 5-year warranty or 100,000 km to its customers, "whichever comes first."
He also highlighted that acquiring a Toyota vehicle in Venezuela currently includes four years of scheduled maintenance at no cost, an exclusive benefit that reinforces customer confidence and ensures optimal vehicle performance.
This scheme includes checks every six months and is not limited to basic oil and filter changes, but includes complete inspections of parts, fluids and transmission and differential systems, following standards defined by the parent company in Japan.
Furthermore, it was emphasized that the warranty is associated with the vehicle, not the owner, which means that even in trade-in or resale transactions, the coverage remains valid. This way, a customer who decides to upgrade their model in the fourth year can again access the free warranty program, while the trade-in vehicle retains its warranty for the new owner.

A new member of the Toyota family and new forms of mobility
Among the announcements for next year was the arrival of a new model, described as the embodiment of a feeling: "Freedom and enjoyment." Although he didn't reveal specific details, Carona assured that it will be an "exciting, multipurpose vehicle with a great legacy," designed to convey freedom and enjoyment, and that it seeks to break the mold in the local market.
By 2026, the brand will also explore the possibility of introducing electric car models. However, it's worth noting that the brand has already developed five different technologies globally to reduce toxic emissions. "Implementation will depend on adapting to the local energy mix, demonstrating its flexibility in offering sustainable solutions."
Safety: Takata airbag replacement campaign
Toyota Venezuela reiterated its commitment to the safety of drivers and their families by continuing its global Takata airbag replacement campaign. In Venezuela, 27.000 vehicles remain to be inspected, including Corolla, Yaris, Hilux, Fortuner, and 4Runner models manufactured between 2003 and 2016.
The company emphasized that the part replacement is free, takes only 10 minutes, and can save lives. “This isn’t just about complying with a Japanese directive, but about protecting our customers. Every dealership that performs this replacement is a hero,” spokespeople stated.
Customer testimonials were shared from those who, after having their parts replaced, experienced accidents in which the system functioned correctly, preventing serious consequences. These cases reinforce the importance of visiting one of the 47 dealerships located throughout the country, many of them in shopping centers and strategic locations, to complete the campaign.
The importance of choosing an authorized dealer
Toyota de Venezuela emphasized the importance of choosing an authorized dealership, highlighting the fundamental difference between acquiring a vehicle through its official network and opting for unofficial products.
Buying from an exclusive authorized distributor guarantees the origin and provenance of the product, carries the full support and responsibility of the brand, and ensures compliance with the legal framework, offering full legal security to the customer.
In contrast, unofficial products feature alterations not approved under Toyota's rigorous standards, are not adapted to local market conditions, and, most critically, completely lack the backing and support of the brand.
Brand representatives emphasized that acquiring a Toyota means getting more than just a vehicle: it's a brand with a warranty, guaranteed service, and readily available parts—support that protects customers' investments and prevents frustration. "We want everyone who invests their savings in a Toyota to feel secure and supported. Our commitment is that no customer will be left without a warranty or service," they stated.

Toyota's quality is unmatched, but Chinese brands are starting to gain ground in Venezuela; perhaps more affordable prices and greater purchasing opportunities could be achieved if they start assembling in the country.
