Within the framework of strengthening the Venezuela Renace Plan, the Minister of Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries and President of the Venezuelan Guayana Corporation (CVG), Héctor Silva, made a technical inspection visit to the facilities of the Guacara plant of the National Steel Complex (CSN), located in the state of Carabobo, with the objective of verifying firsthand the production processes and the commitment of the working class to the industrial development of the country.
During the workday, Silva was accompanied by the president of the National Steel Complex, Colonel Danny Parada; the president of Alucasa, Rafael Hernández; and the plant manager, Alejandro Granados, who guided the strategic supervision aimed at strengthening the articulation and synergy between the companies overseen by the CVG.
The tour began in the furnace area and the billet receiving zone, where authorities assessed the flow of raw materials and the thermal standards required for steel processing, highlighting the technical effort that guarantees the operational continuity of the production lines. Subsequently, the delegation moved to roller track group 1 and the pulpit area, fundamental spaces for the control and initial transformation of the material, where they verified the monitoring conditions, quality parameters, and the specialized work of the personnel operating the machinery.
The technical inspection progressed along the intermediate and continuous rolling mill trains, ending that stage at the cooling table, a journey where the progressive shaping of the metal and the efficiency of the mechanisms that ensure the structural strength of the finished product were observed.
Finally, the tour concluded at the tying and counting table, leading to the rebar storage yard, where the available inventory and logistical capacity for the distribution and dispatch of these essential supplies for the construction sector and the nation's socio-productive development were verified. With these actions, the Ministry of Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries and the Venezuelan Guayana Corporation are working in conjunction with companies in the country's productive sectors to consolidate the nation's comprehensive growth, transforming resources into well-being and development for the Venezuelan people.
