President Nicolás Maduro denounced this Monday that "a certain Luis Guerra, from Primero Justicia, who is trying to be like the parallel Central Bank of Venezuela, denounced him. He, who once worked as an infiltrator for the revolutionary left (…) and later ended up as a spokesperson for the far-right economic groups."
During the 60th broadcast of his program With Maduro +, the president said that "Luis Guerra has a kind of Venezuelan economic observatory and that he tries to be like the parallel Central Bank of Venezuela (...) He produces the figures he wants because he lives comfortably abroad with what he stole in Primero Justicia."
In this regard, Maduro called for the Venezuelan economy to be protected. "We must protect Venezuela, we must protect the economy, and no one must interfere with the Venezuelan economy because there are many conspirators," he stated.
The national leader also denounced that the extreme right intends to interfere with the positive environment that has been achieved with work, "the total defeat of hyperinflation is going full steam ahead (...) and we are going to have the lowest inflation in 25 years" in 2024.
President Maduro stressed that Venezuela "will have a favorable economic climate despite the claims that sought to implode it and that we rose from the ashes and they have not been able to and will not be able to; the Venezuelan economy will continue to move forward," he said.
"Economic growth with low inflation, a high level of domestic investment, the arrival of foreign investors, job creation, improved family resources thanks to entrepreneurship, and a favorable economic climate for a country they sought to exploit," he said.
