A total of 162 tools and work supplies were delivered in Plaza Miranda in Tucupita to sanitation brigade members and crews operating in the eight parishes of the municipality, in the state of Delta Amacuro.
The equipment included 30 brush cutters, cargo motorcycles (three-wheeled motorcycles), wheelbarrows, rakes, brooms, and protective overalls.
This equipment will optimize waste collection times, expedite weeding in public areas, and improve the working safety conditions of cleaning staff, resulting in more hygienic urban spaces for the community.
The initiative was organized from the Vencedores del Delta community, located in the San José parish. Local authorities reported that this activity is part of a phased schedule, and other communities in the region will receive similar supplies in the coming days to expand the coverage of the maintenance plan.
