José Antonio Cabriza Piña (26), accused of murdering his partner, was captured by police officers in the state of Portuguesa.
According to the police report, the victim is identified as Deilymar Carolina Gil Aguilar (29), who was located last Sunday among bushes in the hamlet of Barro Negro, El Filito sector, Monseñor José Vicente de Unda municipality, Portuguesa.
The initial investigation revealed that the couple had an argument inside their home. Deilymar's 12-year-old daughter was in her room when she heard shouting and banging. Upon going outside to see what was happening, she found only a cell phone lying on the kitchen floor. She then walked to the patio where she saw Cabriza returning from the woods.
She asked him about her mother, and the man said he didn't know. The girl alerted relatives who located the woman in the wooded area of the hamlet, from where they took her to the José Dolores González Hospital in Chabasquen (Portuguesa), where she arrived without vital signs.
