Los Omares, the duo comprised of renowned Venezuelan singer-songwriters Omar Enrique and Omar Acedo, will premiere the highly anticipated official music video for their single “Vida” this Friday, August 28. The video captures all the energy of the live performance the artists delivered during the “La gran rumba del merengue 4” celebration on June 13 at the impressive Poliedro de Caracas.
Directed by Poe Polanco, the video captures the magnificence of a historic night in which Los Omares shared the stage with true giants of Latin music, including Ilegales, Miriam Cruz, Eddy Herrera, Kinito Méndez, Fernando Villalona, Bonny Cepeda, Diveana, Roberto Antonio, Las Chicas del Can, Mery Tu Loba, Danny Marín, Zulinka, and Miguel. The impeccable audio recording, mixing, and mastering of the show were handled by renowned producer Ramsés Alegría, known as "Súbele Ram."
The song is part of the self-titled album 'Vida', a nine-track collection that fuses the power, flavor, and essence of contemporary merengue. The album's sound was executive produced by Omar Enrique and Omar Acedo themselves, supported by a team of international arrangers and musicians led by renowned Dominican producer Moisés Sánchez, a multiple Latin Grammy winner.
Thanks to its high technical and conceptual quality, the album 'Vida' was formally submitted to the Latin Recording Academy for consideration for nominations at the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards.
