Henrys Silva faces a new and important challenge in his professional career after being appointed as the new president of the Casa del Artista Foundation, an entity attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture. The resolution was formalized in Official Gazette No. 43.436, dated Thursday, August 13, 2026.
The well-known entertainer has committed to promoting and developing the national artistic community, transforming popular sentiment into artistic expressions. He follows in the footsteps of the late Amador Bendayán, founder and first president of the institution, which has subsequently been led by prominent figures in Venezuelan entertainment and culture such as Mirla Castellanos, Cecilia Todd, Violeta Alemán, Lisett Torres Olmos, Roberto Mesutti, and Susej Vera.
“For me, the Casa del Artista is not just an institution, but a home, a refuge, and a living testament to Venezuelan talent. It is a space that embraces those who have dedicated their lives to moving, educating, and inspiring our people, but also a beacon that should guide and inspire new generations,” Silva said.
“Taking on this role means honoring our cultural heritage and, at the same time, building real opportunities, well-being, and dignity for every creator in our country. More than a surprise, I see it as a profound calling from destiny and a beautiful responsibility. When you have dedicated your life to the arts and communication, you understand from within the needs, dreams, and challenges of our artists,” added the singer and surgeon, who graduated from the University of the East (UDO) in 2014.

Humble and grateful
At the helm of the Casa del Artista Foundation, Henrys Silva will align his administration with the mission of guaranteeing the comprehensive development, respect, and social recognition of artists within the framework of their cultural rights. The institution's vision aims to consolidate a comprehensive support system at the national and international levels that ensures the recognition of artists as tangible and intangible cultural assets of the country.
“I accept this responsibility with absolute humility and gratitude for the trust placed in me, but above all with the urgency and commitment to work tirelessly. There are no excuses here: it’s time to embrace this house, and although my arms alone may not be enough, if we join hands, we can certainly transform and elevate our artistic work and that of the community that admires us,” the former host of Super Sábado Sensacional emphasized.
High-profile premiere
This important milestone coincides with a significant moment in Henrys Silva's professional career, as he premiered his program "Con Silva de noche" on Monday, August 31st. The show airs Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 9:00 to 10:00 pm on Venezolana de Televisión (VTV). Its premiere generated considerable interest among viewers, as it is the only late-night show of its kind currently airing on Venezuelan television.
“With Silva at night” emerges as a solid platform for the meeting, talent and dissemination of national and international artistic figures, reaffirming the singer as one of the most versatile faces on the national small screen.

He deserves it; he's young and a professional in communications, a TV host, and he knows the artists. As a doctor, he believes in providing care for artists, from established and famous to popular ones. He'll open his doors to an artist's center with the humility that characterizes him as a TV host. God bless him.
