The Venezuelan dancer Félix Oropeza achieved a second place in a tie with Rosario Armenta, from Mexico, in the International Competition for Soloists with a Career 2020, within the framework of the International Contemporary Dance Festival that took place in the Aztec city. The first place went to Luis Vallejo "Termy", from Mexico.
Oropeza showed satisfaction for this achievement of having represented Venezuela with the dance piece called Song of Simple Truth, in which he addressed the issue of the transit of peoples around the world. The staging was at the Ciudad Esperanza Iris theater.
The jury was in charge of the teachers Claudia Lavista, Oscar Ruvalcaba, Rodrigo González and Raúl Tamez. The festival will continue until August 16.
