Miss Teen Venezuela 2026: a diverse and ambitious group

The contestants vying for the pink crown have multiple personal and professional goals.

At their young ages, the young women aspiring to the Miss Teen Venezuela 2026 crown have ambitions that go far beyond the catwalk.

Last Friday, September 25, the 15 contestants arrived at the newsroom Últimas Noticias for a group interview which they attended wearing a mini-dress in a bubblegum pink shade.

Despite the initial reserved and timid appearance of such an activity, as the interview progressed, the girls, whose ages range from 16 to 20, loosened up and did not hesitate to express their ideas.

Expectations for the gala

Beyond a fleeting moment, the contest represents for the aspiring pink crown holders a possibility of future growth and, of course, a great opportunity to make themselves known.

In addition to aspirations worthy of the digital age, such as enhancing their presence on social media, they intend to inspire girls and encourage them to eventually join the Miss Teen Venezuela family.

“It is a fundamental part for us as women, for our development, and above all, it would look incredible on our resumes, because it not only gives us a voice, but also provides us with the vision to reach many people and create bonds with certain girls who may see themselves reflected in us,” said Miss Teen Amazonas, Laura Bravo.

Professional goals

Beyond the catwalk and beauty pageants, these teenagers have interests in various fields ranging from the performing arts to medicine and aviation.

“The contest is a bonus for me because the career I long for is acting. I just graduated from high school and after finishing my commitments with Miss Teen I intend to go to Mexico to train as an actress,” revealed Miss Portuguesa, Amelia Molina, 17 years old.

Isabella Rodríguez, a 19-year-old representative from the state of Carabobo, is in her sixth semester of law school and says that the competition gives her tools in terms of orality and interpersonal relationships, which she considers crucial for her legal training.

Valery Clavier from Anzoátegui wants to study plastic surgery, while Valeria Ferrer, representing the state of Zulia, is currently studying to become a dentist. Miss Delta Amacuro, Gabriela Rojas, for her part, has aspirations in the field of pediatrics, specifically in neonatology.

His hobbies

The young queens dedicate their free time to various activities such as dance, music, and languages. Although she wants to become a professional pilot, Litsay Contreras (Andean Region) says her hobby and passion is aerial dance. "It's risky, but I really enjoy it," she commented. Meanwhile, Danna Ventura (Nueva Esparta) is focused on mastering other languages; she is fluent in English and has recently been learning Italian with the intention of eventually living for a while in her family's country of origin.

Teresa Reggio, Miss Teen Distrito Capital, also plays piano and violin and excels in ballet. “Since I was little, I’ve been involved in various activities. My passion is music; being on stage changes me. These activities have helped me become familiar with the feeling of being seen or heard,” says the 19-year-old.

His favorite corner of Venezuela

During their time in the Miss Teen Venezuela pageant, the contestants have taken tours throughout the country. During the conversation, most of them declared themselves in love with the idyllic island of Margarita.

“Margarita Island, where I’m from, is spectacular because of its beaches and its people; there’s a palpable family atmosphere,” said Mónica Marcano from the Llanos region. Other young women described it as a welcoming place, with helpful people, full of art, talent, and wonderful, unforgettable landscapes.

Despite Venezuela's tourist appeal, the tragedy of June 24th marked a turning point for La Guaira, a state that had previously recovered from the devastating mudslide of December 1999. In this regard, Danna Ventura spoke emotionally about the area and the recent events: “Like my colleagues, I love Margarita Island, but for me, La Guaira is synonymous with refuge and fond memories. One beautiful thing I take away from the earthquakes is the resilience of the people, their positive attitude, and seeing how they reinvent themselves,” she said.

Victoria Bermúdez, originally from Falcón, the state she also represents, highlighted her homeland as a magical place, full of history, rich landscapes (beach, dunes and forest) and fauna worth visiting.

Miss Teen Amazonas, in turn, highlighted Caracas, her birthplace, as a wonderful place that brings back “millions of memories.” “I had to move, but I still have very fond memories. It’s full of lights, joy, and is an example of the true Venezuelan spirit, of survival. I constantly think about its people, their warmth, and their quick accents,” reflected the young contestant.

Neurodivergence in Miss Teen Venezuela

There are infinite variations in the functioning of the human brain, and the contestants of Miss Teen Venezuela 2026 highlighted their diverse traits in this aspect.

By participating in the contest, they seek to destigmatize conditions such as mild anxiety and attention deficit disorder, which are not impediments to achieving their dreams and functioning in everyday life situations.

What's coming

The final night and coronation of the pageant will be on November 20th on Margarita Island, a traditional event in the pageant founded in 2002.

Santiago Rosas, president of the organization, announced that it will be an interactive gala full of surprises. They will hold three fashion shows: one in swimwear, another featuring the RoseLab brand, and one in pajamas.

“They will parade with wings alluding to a specific theme; for example, this year the theme is space,” he said. However, the businessman preferred to keep details such as the jury, musical guests, and other surprises under wraps.
