The governor of Carabobo, Rafael Lacava, announced this Thursday morning the start-up of the new Rosa unit on 0800-Moustache, for specialized care for women.
Through a video posted on his Instagram account @ lacava10oficial, the regional president showed the arrival of the mobile team that will offer mammography, bone densitometry and digital breast ultrasound services.
"This is the new toy that @0800mustache-7 brings to all Carabobo women to prevent all pathologies related to women," he wrote on the social network.
He stressed that the pink unit has all the transducers to avoid and prevent cervical cancer.
“This is a blessing from God for all our beautiful and warrior women. Nobody here gives up. Long live Carabobo ”, she declared.
The pink unit, as well as the mobile CT scanners, will be used in community outings carried out by 0800-Moustache, prior planning.
It is worth noting that the services of this program are completely free.
Clínica Rosa attended Buenos Aires
More than 50 workers from the Autonomous Municipal Tax Administration Service (Semat) were attended by specialists from the Rosa Clinic, located in the Puerto Cabello municipality.
Lenik Hon, medical vice president of the Carabobeño Institute for Health Foundation (Insalud), reported that the comprehensive day provided specialized medical care in gynecology, routine cytology, breast ultrasound, and mammography.
“These actions are issued by President Nicolás Maduro, the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez; Governor Rafael Lacava and Mayor Juan Carlos Betancourt to guarantee women's health, as well as the prevention of cervical cancer, ”she said.
He explained that for three days, the women of the institution will have this service available for free.
"From this moment we are working on the goal of the World Health Organization (WHO) for the year 2030, which is the reduction of cancer in general, for which early diagnosis and timely treatment will be reinforced," he pointed out.
