The newly reopened Isabel Gómez pediatric hospital in San Félix was the place where 15 children were operated on free of charge during the fourth day of surgical care carried out by the governor's office.
With low and medium complexity surgeries, such as inguinal and umbilical hernia operations, phimosis and cryptorchidism, the team of medical specialists achieved total care for these girls and boys who had previous requests through the 1x10 platform of the Good Government.
Governor Yulisbeth García indicated that these days are part of the comprehensive pediatric care plan in line with the 1x10 of the Good Government, which seeks to address the existing demand directly.
"With the direct support of President Delcy Rodríguez, we established a medical care pathway, prioritizing full coverage according to each pathology presented by the children so that they can be treated comprehensively and eliminate each ailment thanks to this high-level multidisciplinary medical team," the governor commented.
Dr. Edilio Pernalete, the sole health authority, assured that these events will continue in the coming weeks, to serve other areas in other municipalities with spaces also rehabilitated and equipped as part of the "For the Love of Bolívar" plan promoted by the regional executive.
