Las Delicias and Las Cocuizas Zoo, most visited sites in Aragua

The Maracay Zoo received 623 visitors, while the Las Cocuizas recreational area attracted more than 1400 people.

The sole tourism authority of the state of Aragua, Maritza Mendoza, made a positive assessment of tourist visits in the region during the Christmas season.

Mendoza highlighted that according to his assessment, the most popular areas for visitors were the Las Delicias de Maracay zoo and the Las Cocuizas recreational area, among other places that have been recovered thanks to the efforts of the regional government, according to the press release from the Government of Aragua.

Mendoza stressed that this boost in local tourism is due to the support of the national and regional governments. In a gesture of inclusion, the Governor of the state provided free entry for boys and girls of the state, allowing many families to enjoy a day of recreation after the arrival of Baby Jesus and the Christmas Eve celebrations.

It was announced that the Maracay Zoo received 623 visitors, while the Las Cocuizas recreational area attracted more than 1400 people. This increase in tourist flow is a reflection of the effort to revitalize recreational spaces and promote family interaction in a safe and pleasant environment.

Likewise, following the guidelines of Governor Carpio and the Minister of Popular Power for Tourism, Letizia Gómez, social inclusion policies promoted by President Maduro were implemented. The tourism team of the state of Aragua was present with a tourist information point that offered recreational activities, such as face painting and raffles.

These initiatives not only provided entertainment for visitors, but also served as a platform to promote the state's tourist attractions, in addition to the arrival of international tourists from countries such as France and Colombia.

With this encouraging outlook, Maritza Mendoza reaffirmed her commitment to tourism development in Aragua, always seeking to improve the experience of visitors and position the state as a tourist destination par excellence in Venezuela.
