Pablo Acosta Ortiz Hospital in Apure debuts state-of-the-art X-ray equipment

The investment exceeds one hundred thousand dollars and positions the Apure healthcare center as a diagnostic reference for the entire southern region of Venezuela.

The installation of a modern digital X-ray machine, valued at over one hundred thousand dollars, was completed at the Dr. Pablo Acosta Ortiz Hospital in San Fernando, Apure state, as part of a joint investment between the regional government and the Ministry of Popular Power for Health. This was announced by Governor Wilmer Rodríguez during a tour of the facilities of the main healthcare center in the plains region.

Rodríguez explained that this new equipment will serve not only the population of Apure, but also patients from Amazonas, southern Guárico, parts of Barinas and Bolívar, who come to this hospital due to its strategic geographic location. "Today Apure inaugurates this important and beneficial X-ray machine. We made a joint investment not only in the X-ray machine, but also in equipment for the network of outpatient clinics, for example in Biruaca," the regional authority stated.

For his part, the sole health authority for Apure state, Óscar Rebolledo, explained that the donation also includes digital equipment for the Manuel Laya Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI) in Biruaca and the Leoncio Páez CDI, as well as blood pressure monitors, ultrasound machines, echocardiographs, and infusion pumps for the Pablo Acosta Ortiz Hospital. "I am very pleased with the implementation of this new, fully digital equipment. This significant donation is thanks to the efforts of our governor, Wilmer, who has always been attentive to public health," Rebolledo stated.

To close the day, Governor Rodríguez announced the acquisition of the CT scanner that the people of Apure have been demanding for years, a highly complex piece of equipment that will expand the diagnostic capacity of the region's main hospital. "We continue working tirelessly for the well-being of the people of Apure; we know that health is of utmost importance. That's called passion for health," the regional leader concluded.
