The Independencia municipality is positioning itself as a key energy hub for the country, following the signing of new strategic agreements to develop four energy oil fields in the Orinoco Oil Belt.
The operations will take place in blocks Ayacucho 2, 3, 5 and 7, reported Mayor Hernán Rodríguez, who received the board of directors of the Padma Orinoco company, headed by José Cotelo, at the Ciudad Orinoco dock.
The local leader emphasized that this alliance includes the construction of an industrial park that will make the municipality the company's operational center, attracting investment and economic development. During a river inspection on the Orinoco River, authorities and the technical team assessed the land where the industrial complex will be built.
The project is estimated to generate 550 direct jobs in its first installation phase and approximately 2.500 indirect jobs, directly benefiting the inhabitants of the region.
The civil and oil infrastructure plan includes the construction of a river port for the logistics and export of crude oil, specialized maintenance workshops for heavy machinery, and a residential camp with recreational areas for personnel.

This is an excellent opportunity for the towns, thanks to their workforce and the mayor's great work supporting businesses with their new technologies. It's exactly what the country needs, without forgetting the social aspect of strengthening schools and improving healthcare.
Goodness, don't look too hard. That's a job for technicians who will select based on environmental variables, flood zone, river depth, etc., etc.
The rest is just wishful thinking, and wishful thinking doesn't get you pregnant.
In Ciudad Orinoco, we're aiming for more, because the goal is to keep moving forward. Long live Anzoátegui, long live Venezuela, my beloved homeland!
