Five communities in the municipality of Tucupita, in the state of Delta Amacuro, were served this Saturday with food and medicine during a comprehensive approach carried out by the state government and national institutions.
The approach was carried out in the community of Cocuina, from where residents of towns such as Boca de Cocuina, Valle Encantado, La Florida and Londres were also attended.
The services offered included general medical consultations, food donations to registered families with greater social challenges, sale of food at subsidized prices, recreation, gas sales, nutrition, and sale of local agricultural products.
These are locations far from the center of Tucupita, with difficulties in permanently accessing food and health services such as those offered.
During the activity, Magaly Viña, Minister of Popular Power for Older Adults, and the Secretary General of the Delta government, Suyiban Bermúdez, were present.
