The residents of the Betania de Topocho and Barrio África sectors in the Atures municipality, Puerto Ayacucho in the Amazonas state, benefited from a day of facilitating legal procedures that allowed them to obtain their identification documents, in addition to health, food, nutrition and Mission Nevado services.
The Betania sector of Topocho is an indigenous community of the Huottoja (Piaroa) people, famous for producing exceptionally sweet and juicy pineapples. The Barrio África neighborhood is a community in Puerto Ayacucho that has a school and health services.
On both days, a team of professionals facilitated access for locals to identification procedures, technical and personalized advice, and social security, allowing access to old-age pensions, ensuring that the rights of indigenous peoples are fully respected and recognized, as well as life certificate procedures and direct assistance to people with special conditions.

The events were held in conjunction with the System of Missions and Great Missions, under a comprehensive care approach. Various regional and national institutions joined forces to offer a wide range of services to the residents of both areas, providing medical care with consultations in various specialties, vaccinations, and the distribution of free medications to guarantee access to preventive and curative healthcare.
Nutritional monitoring was carried out through the National Institute of Nutrition with measurements of height and weight, especially children and older adults, along with the delivery of food modules to contribute to the food security of families.
Mission Nevado provided veterinary care to pets and community animals, promoting public health and animal welfare.
They also had access to barber and hairdressing services, as well as weeding and cleaning activities in public spaces to improve the environment and the quality of life of the inhabitants.
